Like moldavite, Libyan desert glass (LDG) also formed from an ancient meteorite strike. But Libyan glass hails from the opposite side of the world – the desolate eastern Sahara desert of Libya, west Egypt and Sudan. It is thought to have formed around 29 million years ago when a meteorite exploded above the desert sands.

My story with moldavite & Libyan desert glass for those who don’t know this is very close to moldavite but not as harsh .
Back in 2023.
I decided to create my own jewellery line using a the highest vibrational crystal and tektites I could find and I did just that .
I’ve sold moldavite for many years and it was in the last couple of years I began my journey on it . My life wasn’t moving in the correct way what ever I tried to achieve it just wasn’t happening .
I felt stuck I knew that I was always destined to do something great I just felt trapped and plagued with ill health loss tragedy endless bad things kept happening my mental health was out of control my relationship was in a bad place .
I just didn’t know what to do .
Then one day I looked in my unit and seen the moldavite .
Something I had always stayed away from but what did I have to lose so I put my piece on my finger . & oh my goodness was I in for a ride !!!
The decisions I couldn’t make I started making them fast an quick I recovered from a broken heart very quickly. That stone completely changed my life .
Then I dug a little deeper and realised wow this is time to create your dreams I went on a journey of getting to know more & more about high vibrational crystal & tektites and I knew that was it so there and then my idea was born to create a pendant with the worlds best high vibrational crystals & tektites and I did .
Libyan desert glass is a stone of transformation it’s softer than moldavite but just as potent so I recommend that any one thinking of using moldavite but are scared try dessert glass it’s just as life changing .
